Community Rules

1. Treat people decently

NCS is for adults aged 18 and over. Harassment, persistent hostility and abusive behavior aren't welcome here. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and other forms of bigotry are prohibited.

2. Follow staff instructions

Be respectful toward staff and follow their instructions. If you think a staff member has handled something badly, file a report instead of turning the disagreement into a public argument.

Use your judgment. These rules can't cover every situation. Staff may act on conduct that goes against their intent, within reason, even if it isn't specifically listed here.

3a. Keep explicit content out of Discord

Don't post NSFW or obscene content in the NCS Discord. Cyberpunk 2077 contains explicit material, but that doesn't make it appropriate for our Discord channels.

3b. Get consent before explicit roleplay

Explicit themes are allowed in roleplay within reason. Before a scene begins, every participant must agree to it and discuss what's involved out of character (OOC).

Anyone can say no or withdraw consent at any point. If someone is no longer comfortable, stop. Agreeing earlier doesn't oblige them to continue.

The following topics are forbidden, regardless of consent:

• Rape
• Incest
• Bestiality
• Necrophilia
• Pedophilia

Staff take a zero-tolerance approach to violations of these rules.

4. Keep characters and stories within the setting

Characters, concepts and storylines must fit the Cyberpunk universe and make sense in Night City. There's plenty of room for different stories, but staff may ask you to change something that doesn't fit the setting or the community.

5. No piracy

You need a legitimate copy of Cyberpunk 2077 to play through OPEN//77. Don't use NCS spaces to request or distribute pirated material or to help others use it.

6. Where these rules apply

We normally limit moderation to NCS community spaces. We may intervene outside those spaces in exceptional circumstances.

For moderation purposes, those spaces include:

• The roleplay server
• The NCS Discord
• Direct messages between community members
• Community-adjacent Discord servers

Community-adjacent Discord servers must give at least two NCS staff members read access to every channel. There are no exceptions to this requirement.

7. AI-generated content

AI-generated writing is prohibited in roleplay, character concepts, applications and reports.

AI-generated media is prohibited in official NCS media, partnered advertising and official factions. We discourage it in unofficial content, but allow it there.
